BLUESTAR 2020

The third year of our charity walk event in aid of the Red Cross Home for the Disabled. Due to COVID-19, our event took on a virtual walk/run angle. We are pleased to have all of you take part and fundraise for the disabled! The event raised $407,415 for the Singapore Red Cross’ (SRC) local humanitarian efforts.

BlueStar Charity Asia collaborated with JCO to raise funds and bring joy to beneficiaries of RCHD. A total of $4,140 was raised to buy 41 hampers for RCHD. Each hamper comprised diapers, Ensure Milk Powder, Milo Powder Refill, Nescafe 3-in-1 Instant Coffee and Quaker Instant Oatmeal.

BLUESTAR 2019 CAR RALLY

On 25 August 2019, a fleet of 26 cars – including a Chrysler 300C stretch limo, a Rolls Royce Phantom and several Maseratis – wowed the public during the inaugural BlueStar Car Rally.

Organized by a group of ex-NPCC Cadet Inspectors, the car rally is a pre-cursor to the BlueStar Charity Walk. The funds support beneficiaries at the Red Cross Home for the Disabled (RCHD), Singapore’s only home for persons with severe physical and intellectual disabilities.

Gathering at Kallang Leisure Park Open Air Carpark, the participants drove together to RCHD before taking a tour of the premises to learn about the Singapore Red Cross’s work there.
