BlueStar Youth Movement

1) Connall Choo Tzhi Tjie (朱智杰), 15

He is a Air Scout with the local Skyhawk Air Scout Group. This is his first time embarking as
a volunteer for a charity event.

Currently he is a student of Zhenghua Secondary School and serves the school as Student Councillor.
He loves reading and his interest is all matters of mathematics and sciences.

He hopes to generate more youths to volunteer for charity and putting his best skills to this field.

2) Conrad Choo Tzhi Txian (朱智贤), 14

He is a Air Scout with the local Skyhawk Air Scout Group. This is his first time embarking as
a volunteer for a charity event.

Currently he is a student of Zhenghua Secondary School and serves the school as Student Councillor.
He loves hands-on practices and task-oriented works and always on the look-out for new ideas to perform certain tasks assigned to him.

He hopes to take on new challenges in doing charity work and wants to know how charity can be an exciting route for him.

3) Conway Choo Tzhi Tzhong (朱智忠), 12

He is a Air Scout with the local Skyhawk Air Scout Group. This is his first time he is
embarking as a volunteer for a charity event.

Currently he is a student of Maris Stella High School and is sitting for his PSLE this week.
He loves problem-solving activities and develops the most suitable strategies or solutions.

Through this volunteering, he hopes to better and build his self-confidence which would give him a sense of accomplishment and a sense of pride and identity.

4) Kelvin Choo, 56
He is a Air Scout Leader with the local Skyhawk Air Scout Group. He has been a volunteer with many non-profit organisations such as NCCS, Yellow Ribbon (YRP) and Run For Hope (RfH).

Currently he is a subject trainer and prepares students for competitions and overseas Olympiads.

He sees volunteering as helping the community to benefit from the generous donors and seeks to provide a platform for the youths to embark on this journey. Besides these approaches, he also instill empathy and compassion for the general mass to further their outlook on charity.

It is not about how much we Give, but it is about how much Love we put into Giving.

DAY ACTIVITY CENTRE

The Red Cross Day Activity Centre in Jurong provides therapy for up to 39 vulnerable patients who are both physically and mentally disabled.

RED CROSS HOME FOR THE DISABLED

The Red Cross Home for the Disabled provides 24/7 care for up to 100 adults and 30 children who are both mentally and physically disabled.

MENTAL CARE

We provide our residents with a range of physical activities to enhance their mobility, and creative activities to engage and bring joy to the residents.

PHYSICAL CARE

We have a team of over 40 nurses and care staff along with a team of physical, occupational and speech therapists who provide 24/7 care year round.
